Travels

As the child of a military family, travel is in my DNA. I remember traveling from a very young age throughout the US by rail and by car. I was 10 years old for my first international trip, when my father was transferred to a US base in the Philippines. I lived there for two years learning the local culture, customs, and food, while exploring all the country had to offer with my family. As I look back on that experience, I realize it was the catalyst that sparked my love of exploring new destinations, discovering all that the world has to offer.

The Air Force moved our family regularly over the years. A bright spot was in high school, when we spent four years in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. While there I traveled around the state’s islands even learning to play the Ukulele.

Later in life, my husband, children, and I traveled together extensively in Europe and the Caribbean. We now plan travel to new places & return to favorite spots. Along with my personal travel, continuing education & conferences for my travel business are vital for staying up to date with all things travel.
